General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, May 10 – Spencer’s Ace Guardian Push – Maxie Panics – Taggert Returns

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 10, tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will make a bold declaration on the flight home from Greenland. While holding Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Spencer will vow to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he’ll be his brother’s guardian.

Of course, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will have different ideas, especially now that Ace has gotten caught up in all this Cassadine kidnapping chaos. It’ll definitely leave Esme even more protective of her baby boy once Ace is back in her arms.

Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will open up to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who’ll ask if she’s speaking for Spencer and Trina or herself.

Perhaps Curtis will have a hunch that Laura won’t be on the same page as Trina and Spencer when it comes to Esme’s reunion with Ace.

Regardless, Laura will certainly be glad that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is dead and will feel like they can finally put his threat behind them.

After Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) confronts Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) following his kiss with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), she’ll push for the truth about his feelings.

Robert may point out that Holly was the one who instigated that kiss – though Robert clearly enjoyed it as well.

Since Robert will seek romantic advice soon, he might confess to Diane that he’s feeling rather conflicted now that Holly’s back in town. Diane may think Robert needs to figure out what he truly wants since she’s not looking to get jerked around.

Other GH spoilers say Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will warn that the future of her company is at stake, so Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will wonder how she can help.

However, it’s Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) who can help the most – that is if she can keep her act together and avoid a repeat mental health episode.

It looks like Sasha will be asked to step up for a special live promotion, so that could mean going on the air again and risking a recovery setback.

In the meantime, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will see how well Sasha’s doing while Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is on her trip. It’ll apparently leave Carly thinking that maybe Sasha doesn’t need a guardian.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will dismiss an idea Carly has, so maybe she’ll still feel like she needs “reliable” Gladys to lean on!

Sasha doesn’t realize she can’t actually trust Gladys, who exploited this guardianship to settle her own gambling debts and framed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) for jewelry theft.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will declare war on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who’ll continue to protest that he’s innocent and will beg Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to believe him.

Although Olivia will continue to battle doubts, she might eventually see that Ned’s quite adamant about this. Olivia may start to doubt that Ned would commit to a lie this hard and accept that he might actually be telling the truth.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) assumes Ned is guilty and has no problem with her son’s alleged actions, but she should open her mind to some other possibilities, too.

We’ll see Tracy form a theory and offer updates on her choice, so it’ll be interesting to find out if she suspects Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) or someone else.

Finally, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) will be back just in time to help Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) greet Trina after her dangerous Greenland drama. Portia will struggle to hold back her animosity for Spencer, but Taggert will deliver a stern warning.

If Portia rips into Spencer, it could backfire and push Trina even further away. Portia can’t take that chance right now, so Taggert may encourage her to just focus on holding Trina in her arms and let the rest melt away.
