General Hospital Update: Thursday, June 8 – Carly’s Fix-It Plan – Sonny’s Next Move – Brook Lynn’s Secrets Pile Up
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, June 8, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will battle some worries as he seeks assistance. Someone will step up to help Dante tackle a situation involving Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who was recently forced to resign from the WSB.
Anna is dealing with a lot at the moment, so she hasn’t been in touch with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
That could change if Anna is finally ready to let down her walls and lean on the man she loves.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) also cares about Anna and may even be the one to convince her to let Valentin support her.
There’ll be some scenes where Sonny meets someone for a face-to-face meeting, so we’ll see if that ties in with all Anna’s drama.
Speaking of drama, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will create another round of it by blackmailing Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who’ll obviously be furious.
Tracy will start throwing blame around as Drew backs her into a corner.
Other GH spoilers say Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) reunion with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could be on shaky ground.
Chase will question why Brook Lynn returned to Deception, so she’ll dig a bigger hole for herself if she keeps lying.
However, Chase would flip out if he knew Tracy pulled strings to get his badge back.
The fact that Brook Lynn is now involved in corporate espionage would rile Chase up too, so Brook Lynn will be in trouble any way you slice it.
Meanwhile, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will shock Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when he reveals what he knows.
Now that Ned’s in the loop on Nina being the SEC whistleblower, Nina may beg him not to spill her secret.
Since it looks like Ned will indeed keep quiet for now, he might consider a trade.
Could Nina agree to sign over her half of the Metro Court to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) in exchange for Ned’s silence?
Whatever the case, Nina may have to go along with anything Ned asks of her since the stakes are so high.
As for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), he’ll upset Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) with a choice she doesn’t like.
Dex may relent when it comes to staying in the mob and working for Sonny if he thinks that’s the safest route.
Since Dex is unwilling to walk away from Josslyn and the love they share, he may feel like continuing to work for Sonny indefinitely is the best way to handle this.
Josslyn won’t approve, especially since Dex’s job is so dangerous, but his mind may be made up for the time being.
At the hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have a top-secret strategy session with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so they’ll discuss whether Sonny can be trusted along with Carly’s plan to make all the chaos go away.
