General Hospital Spoilers: Ned Wakes Up as Eddie Maine – ‘90s Rockstar Persona Takes Over?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will pray for a sign that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is going to be OK following his freak accident at the pool. Olivia will desperately want Ned to open his eyes and get back to the man he used to be.

Unfortunately, Ned could go a little too far back! There’s a good chance this storyline will come with a huge twist that’ll lead to some blast-from-the past moments.

During the week of June 12-16, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will battle major anxiety – and we’d say that’s because Ned will be waking up.

However, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will still have to assess Ned and see if there’s been any significant damage.

Since Ned suffered a traumatic brain injury and was briefly deprived of oxygen, there’s just no way of knowing much of anything until he awakens.

Here’s where things could get interesting since General Hospital spoilers say the Quartermaine clan will be thrown for a loop.

Something will leave this family in shock, so that could involve Ned’s condition once he’s awake and alert.

What if Ned reverts to the past and wakes up as Eddie Maine, the pseudonym he used back in the ‘90s when he was trying to be a rockstar?

Ned lived a double life and pretended to be Eddie when he married Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), who later became Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) mother.

It’ll be interesting if Ned wakes up ready to rock and roll – especially if he’s in love with Lois and perhaps thinks they’re still married.

Ned may shove Olivia aside and push for a reunion with Lois instead.

Whatever the case, it looks like Ned’s awakening will come with some complications that his family wasn’t expecting, but Nina will be relieved over the news – at least for a while.

If Ned’s focused on being Eddie Maine and all the messiness of that, then he won’t remember more recent events like Nina turning Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in for insider trading.

“Eddie” may wake up devoted to his music and Lois if that’s the route GH writers want to take!
