General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) may get himself killed sooner or later. From the get-go, Mason has always seemed like a throwaway type of character who was going to end his run in a body bag or perhaps in the pine barrens.
Mason is unlikable, overconfident and disposable, which may turn out to be a deadly combination.
That’s especially true now that Mason is pushing Ava Jerome (Maura West) to spy on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and report back with information related to his business, particularly when it comes to Pikeman.
Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has made it clear that Ava has to do what Mason says since he’s just the messenger here.
There’s a far more menacing boss in the picture, but that’s an excellent reason to kill Mason off and get her all riled up!
Sonny is bound to find out what Mason is forcing Ava to do eventually – and when that happens, he may take swift and immediate action.
Since Mason is the messenger, perhaps it’ll be time for his death to send a message to this mysterious boss of his.
Sonny might have Mason taken out to show he won’t tolerate someone plotting against him, especially since Mason’s boss is dragging the mother of Sonny’s child into this.
Now that Sonny has warned Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) that he’s all in, he’ll be expecting a higher level of commitment to the job.
That could mean Sonny will push Dex to kill Mason and leave him torn about what to do.
Dex plans to report back to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and get advice along the way, so Michael might think this is a terrible move that’s only going to escalate the situation and spark a mob war.
However, GH fans know Dex could land in some seriously hot water with Sonny if he doesn’t carry out deadly orders.
This would be the perfect opportunity for Sonny to put Dex to the test – and for Dex’s arrangement with Michael to become a major complication.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny will get updates on the threat that’s rising up through Mason’s boss, so stay tuned to see if that terrible news will lead to an explosive mob battle.
