According to reports from Deadline, General Hospital star Nicholas Chavez has bagged a lead role in a Netflix’s upcoming project based on real-life serial killers. Recently, Ryan Murphy rolled out a Monster anthology series on the online streaming platform. The first one tells the story of Jeffrey Dahmer, and has become a big hit! Now, the makers are coming up with the second season, which tells the story of serial killer brothers, Lyle and Erik Menendez.
The series will be called, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. The reports state that General Hospital star Nicholas Chavez will play the part of Lyle while Cooper Koch portrays Erik. There is no doubt that this will prove to be a major spike in Nicholas’ career graph. As the series will put him under the sure-shot limelight! But what would it mean for his role as Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital? Will this career jump-mark the end of his stint on the ABC legacy soap?

Considering that this is a lead role, Nicholas Chavez will certainly have to dedicate quite some time to the Netflix project. That would definitely bite into the filming of General Hospital.
