General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Betrays Drew with Another Man – Can’t Wait 3 Long Years for Love?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) recently shared some powerful moments as they spent their last night together. Drew and Carly professed their love for each other and savored some time in bed, so their connection is stronger than ever right now.

However, things will inevitably change now that Drew’s headed to prison.

Drew is set to begin his three-year sentence at Pentonville, so even Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is wondering what Carly will do without him for that long.

Drew made it clear that he was OK with Carly moving on, but she insisted that’s not what she wants.

Carly vowed to wait as long as it takes for them to have a future together, but that seems like an unrealistic promise on soap where romance is such a huge part of the action.

Sometimes absence can make the heart grow fonder, but other times it’s an “out of sight, out of mind” situation.

Carly will miss Drew terribly in the beginning, but then the loneliness can set in and leave her desperate to connect with someone who isn’t behind bars.

Although Carly thinks she can remain devoted to Drew, it’s probably just a matter of time until she betrays him with another man. Can Carly really wait three long years for love?

Of course, Drew will likely get released sooner than expected, but Carly has to face the facts right now. From where Carly’s standing, she’s looking at quite a dry spell without someone to have and to hold.

Now that Carly has made this bold declaration about waiting for Drew, it almost feels like a guarantee that she’ll sleep with someone else.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a logical option since Carly has a history with him and will always be tied to him.

Plus, Carly recently talked about getting back everything that she’d lost, so that could’ve been a huge hint about a “CarSon” reunion in some form.

On the other hand, many GH fans have grown tired of Sonny and Carly as a pairing, so there’s a chance Carly might fall for a new man entirely.

Either way, Carly and Drew may not be as solid as she thinks they are!

There’s a good chance Carly will make some romantic updates to her life while Drew’s locked up, so she could betray him with someone else.
