General Hospital has its viewers on high alert as the ABC soap has been throwing in unexpected twists right, left, and center! From unexpected couples to killing off characters nobody saw coming, it is doing it all! By the speed GH is racing ahead, it is showing no sign of stopping at just what they have done already. This means we could be on the verge of bidding goodbye to some more key characters of the soap. But which ones and why? Well, TV Season & Spoilers got your back! Keep scrolling to find out!

Donnell Turner as Curtis Ashford

Okay! So the most obvious one first! The latest General Hospital spoilers are teasing that the innocent victim who gets shot in the Metro Court shooting is Curtis Ashford! Yes, agree that Curtis has a lot of unfinished business on GH. He still has to work on his marriage with Portia. He hasn’t really given Jordan the closure that she really needs. Moreover, there is this whole story waiting to happen between the newly minted father and daughter, Curtis and Trina. And yet, the fact is that soaps have killed many characters with bigger unresolved stories hanging on their heads! So, it’s safe to say that after getting shot, Curtis’ place on the soap is a little unsafe!

Michael Easton as Dr. Hamilton Finn On General Hospital

Currently, on General Hospital, Finn is getting quite some screen time with the newly promoted head nurse, Elizabeth! However, it might be having a reverse effect on the viewers! Liz and Finn share a romantic history, but a large section of GH fans feel that the duo has zero sparks as a couple. These days, it feels like the soap is trying to push them toward each other, or at least Finn’s daughter Violet is! But Liz and Finn seem to be failing the chemistry test miserably! Thus, chances are that the couple will fizzle out soon enough. However, if that happens, what will be Finn’s future on the soap? The doctor really doesn’t seem to have anything else going on for him. So if the axe falls, he may become the first to take it!

Roger Howarth as Austin Holt

Okay, so first things first! Roger Howarth is an impeccable performer and is widely loved among General Hospital fans. Unfortunately, it seems like all his potential is being wasted. We can’t remember the last time Austin got a storyline of his own. He is spending so much on the sidelines that it is almost painful to watch. Previously, when Austin crossed paths with Ava, it felt like the two would get a full-fledged romantic storyline. But even that has now become embroiled in multiple other plots. Stealing the limelight from Roger as Austin. Thus, we can’t help but wonder if Ava rejects him as her romantic interest what will he have left to do on the soap?

Cameron Mathison As Drew Cain On General Hospital

It came as an unexpected shock when the judge threw out Drew’s plea deal on General Hospital. Zeke had worked out a neat deal for him where, upon pleading guilty, Drew would have to serve six months at Spring Ridge. However, the judge sentenced him to three years at Pentonville. Now that’s quite a long stint and almost unnecessary, right? Well, it seems like this was done to accommodate Cameron’s other commitments. Perhaps his movie with Hallmark. But there is also a few other red flags here. For starters, all Cam had going on for him on the soap was Carly.

But it isn’t rocket science to deduce that Carly will eventually reunite with Sonny. They are the endgame on General Hospital! Thus, sooner or later, Drew will have to fall off Carly’s grid. Could Drew just fade into oblivion behind the garb of this prison sentence? What do you think? Which of the above names seems likely to drop off the screen soon to you? Also, which ones would you hate to see leave? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to General Hospital to see what the future holds for these characters!
