General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Solves Mystery of Esme’s Adoptive Mom & Dad’s Grim Fate – Proves Foul Play?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may ultimately figure out a new path to taking Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) down. There’s no proof of Esme’s crimes in Port Charles – at least not legit proof since what Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left behind was clearly fabricated.
Unfortunately, Spencer and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) haven’t had any luck uncovering legit evidence either, so they’ll be forced to deal with Esme until something changes.
However, Esme’s recent visit to Heather Webber (Alley Mills) could point to a major shift in the storyline.
GH fans know Esme was unsettled when Heather implied her scheming daughter was responsible for her adoptive mom and dad’s grim fate.
Heather acted like Spencer certainly wouldn’t approve when he found out the truth, so she basically warned that the happy family bubble Esme was trying to create would burst.
Of course, Heather can’t exactly be trusted, but we’re inclined to believe her on this.
Ever since viewers learned Esme’s adoptive parents died in some vague accident, suspicions have been swirling over whether she might’ve orchestrated it.
Now that Heather is backing up that idea, we’re even more convinced that Esme intentionally got rid of her adoptive mom and dad.
Esme obviously wasn’t very attached to them since she always talked about how cold and distant they were before they passed away.
Although Esme doesn’t remember her history, she’s still responsible for some horrible crimes.
If Spencer can’t take Esme down for her more recent transgressions, what if he switches it up and goes after her for something further in the past?
Esme was always the kind of gal who covered her tracks, but even a criminal mastermind can make mistakes.
Could there still be evidence out there that points to Esme as the person responsible for wiping her adoptive mother and father out?
Esme called Spencer following her prison visit in the July 20 episode, so that gave her a chance to mention that she wanted to know more about her adoptive parents.
Spencer disconnected abruptly since he was irritated, but he may think back to that phone call later and decide this could be a good angle to work.
If Spencer does some digging of his own, he might score the proof he needs to put Esme away!
Will Esme eventually be arrested for her adoptive parents’ fatal outcome? Could Spencer get justice and finally make sure Esme gets locked up?
