General Hospital Spoilers: ‘Eddie’ Lands in Bed with Someone Unexpected – Huge Twist for Olivia’s Marriage?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will be miserable when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) finds her staying busy with work at the Metro Court pool. It’ll be Olivia’s way of distracting herself from what could be the end of her marriage.
Olivia has tried to keep hope alive that “Eddie Maine” might become Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) again, but that hope will be fading on the August 14 episode.
It’ll take a pep talk from Dante and perhaps a kind word from “Eddie” to change Olivia’s perspective.
Olivia may eventually decide that she can’t give up on her husband. Perhaps it’s just a matter of Olivia accepting that she’ll learn to love Ned for who he is now.
It’d be interesting if Olivia opened her heart to the possibility of falling for “Eddie” instead of just waiting around for Ned’s return.
That could be where this storyline is headed based on some new info for the week of August 21-25.
GH spoilers say Olivia will ultimately see “Eddie” in a whole new way, so that could set the stage for a shocking development.
“Eddie” was trying to pick up chicks at The Highsider, so he’s clearly a little lonely. It seems like “Eddie’s” bed is getting awfully cold – and Olivia must be in the same boat without Ned to cozy up to at night.
Of course, viewers have also seen some moments where Olivia and “Eddie” were able to connect – like when she opened up to him about her days of sneaking out to clubs.
“Eddie” also decked Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) when he wouldn’t take no for an answer, so there must be some part of him that still cares about Olivia and her well-being.
The show may build on all that by letting some sparks fly between Olivia and “Eddie” soon enough.
Maybe Olivia will start to understand “Eddie” a bit better and eventually land in bed with him.
That could surprise both “Eddie” and Olivia in the aftermath of their hookup.
It could be a situation where something happens in the heat of the moment, but maybe neither one of them will regret it.
That doesn’t mean everything will go smoothly in what’ll essentially be a new romance, but it could create some fun opportunities as Olivia falls in love with her husband all over again – even with this quirky “Eddie” personality.
Naturally, the real Ned will come back sooner or later, but this may be an intriguing angle for Olivia to explore in the meantime.
