General Hospital Spoilers: Willow & Carly’s Feud Erupts – Nina’s Daughter Picks New Side?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will continue to make progress with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who’s finally willing to open her heart and see the good in her bio mom.
Nina is doing her best not to come on too strong since she really doesn’t want to blow this chance.
Of course, Nina also knows the bond she’s forming with Willow would be ruined if the truth about the SEC snitching came out.
It was Nina who ordered Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to turn Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in for insider trading, so it’s just a matter of time until that secret is exposed and destroys her world.
For now, GH writers are giving Nina hope of a real mother-daughter relationship with Willow.
As Willow’s connection to Nina grows, that could certainly affect her relationship with Carly.
Although Carly has been a mother figure to Willow up to now, that could change due to Carly’s resentment of Nina.
When Willow first decided she was willing to have Nina in her life, she pushed Nina to stop all the fighting with Carly.
However, Carly can’t be in Nina’s presence without going off on her, so what if Willow witnesses a tense interaction between them?
It’s easy to imagine Nina putting on her usual nice act and Carly lashing out like she always does. At some point, it might happen when Willow is watching, so she could turn against Carly as this storyline moves along.
Willow might argue that Carly is the problem now and accuse her of provoking Nina when she’s just trying to establish peace.
This could be a great way to stir up some drama in Willow’s marriage to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) since he hates Nina and will always side with Carly.
Willow, on the other hand, may pick a new side as she strengthens her bond with Nina in the coming months.
Maybe Willow will let herself fully accept her birth mom’s love and blow up at Carly when she feels like her mother-in-law is antagonizing Nina.
It makes sense to turn Willow against Carly somewhat in preparation for the big reveal of Nina’s secret.
Nina will have to pay the price once it comes out that she targeted Carly and Drew through this SEC shocker.
Until then, Willow could start to buy into the idea that Nina’s changed and saintly now, so that could lead to her own Carly feud erupting.
