General Hospital Spoilers: Pikeman Red Herring, Anna’s Epiphany – Gladys’ Blackmailed
General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 21 reveal that a new preview clip has been released. This one follows Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as she makes a revelation. Anna explains that it might not be Pikeman after her. Then, who is targeting Anna? Meanwhile, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is horrified by Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) condition. However, when Gladys tries to abort her evil plan, the nefarious psychiatrist strikes back.
GH spoilers reveal that fans have been curious about who has been targeting Anna ever since the Metro Court shooting. Of course, Anna was not hit by the bullet. Instead, it was Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Then, police weren’t even sure if Anna or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was the target.
Ever since, it has been concluded that Anna was the target. Then, Anna and others began investigating who was going after Anna. For a while, it seemed like everything was adding up to Pikeman. However, in the preview clip, Anna explains that it might not be Pikeman after all.
Now, soaps love to use red herrings, especially in mystery storylines. Plus, many storylines are meant to last for a few months to several months, not just a few weeks. So, even though it might be frustrating for fans, there are answers coming.
General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 21 reveal that the preview clip doesn’t just focus on Anna. It also features Sasha, who is crumbling mentally from all the dangerous drugs that she is being given. Now, it’s not Ferncliff that is the problem but the psychiatrist treating Sasha. Of course, this whole disturbing scenario was brought up on someone Sasha trusted… her own mother-in-law.
In the preview clip, Gladys watches Sasha sobbing and rocking herself in the corner. Gladys looks at Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) and demands to know what he’s done to Sasha. Then, Gladys demands that Dr. Montague stop what he is doing to Sasha. That is when Dr. Montague looks Gladys dead in the eyes and says,
“Sure, Gladys. Once you pay me for all of my trouble.”
As the plot thickens, Gladys will have some serious decisions to make. Let’s hope Sasha can be saved before it’s too late.
