Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown has seemingly fled America for a vacation in Mexico after she was seen partaking in a tense exchange with ex-husband Kody Brown on the latest episode of the TLC show
Sister Wives’ fan-favourite sister wife Janelle Brown has seemingly fled America and made her way to Mexico after having a very heated row with ex Kody Brown on national television.
Janelle, 54, was married to Kody Brown since 1993, with their relationship documented on the hit TLC show Sister Wives. But the couple’s split was announced in December 2022 in a trailer for the new series of the hit programme.
And as the new series now airs on TLC, viewers are watching their bitter split play out on TV, with the most recent episode depicting a fight between them that got so heated that the show was shut down, with production forced to come to a halt.
But Janelle isn’t letting the drama of her and Kody’s marriage breakdown airing on television stop her from living her best life, because she has now jetted off out of the US. Taking to Instagram, Janelle recently revealed that she was heading to Mexico.
Posting a photo of luggage on her Instagram stories, Janelle declared: “Off to Mexico for a few days. I always swear I’m going to pack light!!! But well here we are.”
This comes after Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives saw Janelle spoke of being “gaslit” when confronting her then-husband. After the couple had a tense exchange, Kody then said that Janelle fails to “follow the rules and doesn’t take accountability”.
Janelle could then be seen verbally ripping into Kody before grabbing him as he tried to make a swift exit from the room they were in. “Shut your f**king mouth and let me talk to you for a minute,” Janelle fumed.
“There is only a bitterness. What partnership do we have?” he asked. Janelle then asked Kody not to point at her before he stormed out and slammed the door. “Shut it off,” Janelle then demanded to producers and the film crew.
Before Janelle and Kody, who were “spiritually” married for around 30 years, broke up, Kody also split from Christine Brown, who is still incredibly close to Janelle.
Christine, who was Kody’s second wife in their plural marriage before he introduced two others, including Janelle, announced her split from Kody in November 2021.
More recently in January, Kody split from his first wife Meri, with the couple – who were wed for 32 years – announcing their split which then left Kody with one wife, Robyn.
