“Sister Wives” fans have put up with Kody Brown long enough.

After 18 seasons of the hit show, fans have taken to social media to beg the network to remove Kody and Robyn Brown from the show and instead highlight the three wives who are no longer in the family.

This season the show is featuring the aftermath of Christine leaving the family and now the crumbling of his marriage to Janelle. We will likely also (finally) see the marriage between Kody and Meri officially called off.

In a preview clip, Kody is seen suggesting that he and Janelle learn how to live in plural monogamy since polygamy hasn’t seemed to work out.

“Plural monogamy is where you’re not functioning as one family,” Kody says in a confessional. “You’re multiple families, a husband with two families … And these two families don’t interact.” That was your doing, Kody. He basically forced everyone to stay apart for the duration of the Covid epidemic. He drove the wedge into his family, but he’ll never admit it.

Its unclear what Janelle thinks of the idea, but we’ll probably find out when the episode airs.

“I’m not leaving, I’m not throwing in the towel. I just need to be separate while we figure this out,” Janelle said in the clip. “I feel like I’m more aware of what I need when you’re not there.”

Later Kody reflects on what Janelle says, “Maybe that’s just a wake-up call for me,” he wonders. “[Perhaps Janelle’s] not interested in this at all. Maybe she’s got what she needed and she’s moving on.”
