General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Returns to Heather for Truth About Parent’s Staged Accident – Amnesia Ends?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the writers seem to have dropped an important part of Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) storyline, but maybe it’ll come back around. GH fans know that ever since Esme woke up with amnesia, she’s struggled to navigate the world as the new-and-improved version of herself.

There have naturally been plenty of naysayers along the way, but Esme has become a good mom to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and is doing well in her job at The Invader.

However, Esme sometimes worries that she’ll never be able to fully shake her past.

Without her memories, Esme feels disconnected from who she used to be.

The only way for Esme to truly wrap her head around her identity again may be for her to face a memory flood.

Many fans feel like Esme’s amnesia storyline has gone on long enough, especially since we’ve got another amnesia storyline involving “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) in progress.

Perhaps it’s time for the show to move into a new chapter with Esme – one where she remembers everything and has to truly decide what type of person she’s going to be.

That brings us to Esme’s last visit to Pentonville, where she spoke to Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and got an unsettling hint about her past.

Although Esme’s adoptive mom and dad supposedly passed away in some vague accident, Heather hinted that it wasn’t an accident at all!

Based on the way Heather acted, it seems obvious that Esme did something to cause the demise of her adoptive parents all those years ago.

Could remembering that event be the catalyst for Esme remembering everything she’s missing?

Esme needs to experience total recall at some point, so reaching that far back in the past could shake some things loose in her mind.

Maybe Esme just needs to find out what truly happened to her adoptive parents if she wants to trigger a memory flood.

Regardless, Esme is probably haunted by that information, so she may follow up on it sooner or later.

Since Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was no help and Heather clearly knows more than she’s letting on, it might be time for Esme to pay her bio mom another visit soon.

Will Esme return to Pentonville and push Heather for the ugly truth about what she did to her adoptive parents?

Will Heather offer updates on the details of the staged accident and the dreadful news that followed?
