The ‘Blue Bloods’ Cast Is Close Both On and Off Camera: See Their Sweetest Moments

The cast of Blue Bloods doesn’t just play a family on TV, they’ve become a tight-knit group since the show first premiered in 2010.

The CBS series follows the lives of the Reagan family helmed by Tom Selleck’s Commissioner Frank Reagan. Frank’s father, Henry Reagan (Len Cariou), sits opposite him at the group’s weekly Sunday dinners. The rest of the table is filled by Frank’s children, daughter Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan), and sons Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Jamie Reagan (Will Estes).

The feeling of home, however, extends to the rest of the cast — and doesn’t stop when the cameras aren’t rolling.

“Partner Appreciation Day!” Vanessa Ray, who plays Jamie’s wife, Eddie Janko, wrote via Instagram in December 2021, before giving a shout-out to several of her costars. She praised Wahlberg for sharing “new music and giv[ing] me gospel to live by,” and thanked Marisa Ramirez, who plays Maria Baez, for sharing her “heart” and being the “best listener” and her “sounding board.”

“Partner pic,” Ray captioned an Instagram photo in full costume with Estes and Ramirez.

Estes was all smiles as he joined Cariou for a one-on-one scene.

Wahlberg made a goofy face in between takes.

The actors celebrated 150 episodes with specialty cupcakes around the iconic Reagan dinner table.

“Tropical Brooklyn,” Ramirez joked via Instagram as she and Wahlberg sipped on coconuts by the river.

Estes and Ramirez had a group hug with Abigail Hawk, who plays Abigail Baker, and Steve Schirripa, who portrays Anthony Abetemarco.

“Heart full,” Ray wrote via social media after wrapping the show’s 200th episode.

Ramirez and Ray chowed down on dessert while toasting to season 10.

Ray called Moynahan “the best advice giver, baked goods pusher, coolest New Yorker, and all around wonderful friend” in a birthday tribute.

“Happy Birthday Brother from another Mother!” Moynahan captioned an Instagram tribute to Wahlberg.

“Happy Birthday to the best TV Granddad! ❤️,” Sami Gayle, who plays Nicky Reagan-Boyle, wrote via social media in honor of Selleck’s special day.

Moynahan and Schirripa took a selfie with the Statue of Liberty in the background while filming season 12.

The cast didn’t let the cold keep them from having fun on set.

Andrew Terraciano and Tony Terraciano — who are real-life siblings and play TV brothers Sean and Jack Reagan — jetted off to Paris together.

The crew enjoyed a “mini Magnum, P.I.” reunion with guest star Larry Manetti, who previously starred on the crime series with Selleck from 1980 to 1988.

“Happy Birthday to my best girlfriend, my partner in solving crime and to the only other person in the world besides my 7-year-old that I make this weird face with! Miss you! Enjoy! You deserve all the happiness and joy in the world!” Ramirez wrote via Instagram during the cast’s hiatus, to which Wahlberg replied in the comments, “Thank you so much. Miss you, partner. 🙏🏼❤️💫.”
