General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Divorce Decision – Must Decide Whether to End Nina Marriage Over Betrayal

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a huge decision to make once the whole truth comes out. So far, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hasn’t come clean about what he learned from his SEC contact, but that could change in the not-too-distant future.

It’s possible Michael will eventually confess what he’s learned to Sonny – or maybe he’ll let the secret slip to someone like Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or even Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and cause one of them do confess for him.

Regardless, Nina Corinthos’ world may come crashing down once her betrayal comes to light.

Carly is the mother of Sonny’s children, so he certainly won’t appreciate the way she turned his ex over to the SEC for insider trading.

Of course, Nina’s actions also led to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) landing in prison, where he was beaten to the point that he nearly faced a grim fate.

Nina couldn’t anticipate that Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) would deliver such a harsh sentence or that Drew would land in so much danger at Pentonville, but that may not matter to Sonny – at least not at first.

The worst part from Sonny’s perspective may be the fact that Nina deceived him about this for months and would’ve kept right on lying if given the chance.

This is going to shatter the truth Sonny’s built with Nina and leave him with a tough decision to make.

Sonny will have to figure out if this is enough to make him end his marriage to Nina.

It could lead to an annulment or divorce if Sonny decides he just can’t move forward with his new wife after this.

However, we’d say Nina has a good chance of getting forgiven, especially after the way the show pulled out all the stops for their lovely island wedding.

Many GH marriages have survived far worse secrets than reporting a crime, so Sonny may eventually cool down and decide to stand by Nina despite her mistake.

In that case, plenty of people will think Sonny’s making the wrong choice, but he may get updates on Nina’s snitching news and ultimately get past it.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Nina’s marriage is headed into rocky territory in the meantime, so stay tuned.
