General Hospital Spoilers: Michael’s Own Downfall Brewing – Sonny Discovers Real Story Behind Dex & Pikeman Prison Plot?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is acting all smug now that he knows Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is the one who went to the SEC through Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

Michael even got proof through that recording of Martin’s confession, so he’s feeling pretty powerful since he controls Nina’s fate.

Although Michael is getting all high and mighty, maybe he shouldn’t be so quick to judge Nina!

After all, Michael hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as a plant in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization with the intention of taking his father down.

Sonny nearly ended up in prison due to Michael’s plot, which got to the point where he had footage proving his dad’s Pikeman dealings.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) destroyed the flash drive and helped put a stop to Michael’s dangerous behavior, but that doesn’t change Michael’s original scheme and everything he did before he came to his senses.

Michael put the whole family in jeopardy – and Sonny still doesn’t know that Dex was working against him at first. It’s not fair for Nina to face backlash for her secrets while Michael gets off scot-free for his own.

What goes around comes around, so maybe there’s a reason why Michael was the one to discover Nina’s guilt and potentially set her exposure in motion.

Could this be building to another big reveal – one that brings Michael’s own downfall?

Michael doesn’t want his relationship with Sonny to fall apart right when he’s starting to mend it, but that may be what happens if the whole truth comes out.

Nina might get a chance to turn the tables on Michael and make sure his secrets come to light as well – or maybe Michael’s comeuppance will happen another way.

Whatever the case, Michael’s victory may come at a price.

Although GH writers are letting Michael gain the upper hand right now, this could ultimately set the stage for his disgrace and Sonny’s fury against him.
