Cyrus attempted to make amends and put on his usual changed-man act, but Trina was not convinced! Spencer eventually warned Cyrus that it was time to leave, but Cyrus extended one last olive branch before departing on the October 27 episode.
It felt like a major foreshadowing of what was to come, so let us take a look at some significant dialogue. “Trina, you have my undying gratitude,” Cyrus urged. “You only need to ask for help if you ever need it from me for anything.” “I promise never to beg anything from you. Do you hear me? Not! Go now, please, and go!” To that, Trina yelled back. Soap fans are familiar with how situations such as these usually turn out, of course.
Trina’s Unlikely Need for Cyrus:
It is usually a clue that the complete opposite will occur when a character makes a bold prognosis or swears never to do anything. It is almost a given that Trina will eventually need a significant favor from Cyrus given her audacious declaration that she will never ask him for anything! There is a chance Spencer will run into problems later on, such as another predicament where he might have to return to prison or find himself in imminent danger. To rescue Spencer from a sticky situation, Trina may turn to Cyrus.
On the other hand, this might have to do with Curtis and restoring his mobility. Because of his pharmaceutical empire, it would not be absurd to think that Cyrus had ties to cutting-edge medical procedures. Should Esme regain her memories and become a greater issue later on, Trina’s favor might even extend to getting rid of her.
Whatever the case, the GH writers set up a scene in which Trina will need a favor and grudgingly approach Cyrus for help. There will undoubtedly be an emergency that prompts Trina to defy her rule and ask Cyrus to fulfill her wish.
