General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Plots Shadybrook Stay for Ned – Wants ‘Eddie’ in Sanitarium?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may decide enough is enough when it comes to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) run as “Eddie Maine.” Tracy has been clear about believing Ned needs some sense knocked into him, so she may decide to take drastic action.
“Eddie” has already been tempted to bolt for Vegas or a life on the road.
Although “Eddie” will try reviving his music career in Port Charles with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) help, that doesn’t mean he’ll be willing to stick around indefinitely.
Ned could still take off anytime, so the threat of him leaving without warning will hang over Tracy, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and everyone else who cares about him.
Of course, Ned clearly isn’t in his right mind thanks to his traumatic brain injury, so he’s bound to make even more questionable choices.
Some of those choices could prove dangerous and add to the concerns of those who just want Ned to get back to his old self.
During the week of July 3-7, GH spoilers say Tracy will demand a meeting with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).
It sounds like Tracy will mean business when she sits down with Diane to discuss a case.
Soon after, Tracy will stand her ground. We’ll see Tracy dig her heels in until she gets what she wants, so all that could tie in with Ned, too.
Will Tracy plot a Shadybrook stay for Ned and work to get Olivia’s support? Could Tracy hope to send “Eddie” to the sanitarium as a last resort?
Tracy may be desperate at that point and willing to try just about anything – including having Ned committed for his own good.
If there’s a chance it could lead to “Eddie” coming out on the other side of all this as Ned again, Tracy would certainly be all for it.
Kevin Collins (Genie Francis) recommended therapy for Ned, but he also warned that it was important not to deny “Eddie” his reality.
Tracy obviously doesn’t share the same opinion and may hope the doctors at Shadybrook can try some memory recovery techniques.
If “Eddie” goes off the rails even further, Tracy might feel like Shadybrook is the best solution and move forward with legal steps to force Ned into this.
General Hospital spoilers say Tracy will make some updates to her strategies along the way, so that could lead to big news for Ned.
