General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will struggle following his transfer from GH to his new rehab center. This is a necessary step in Curtis’ recovery, but he’s still feeling angry and terrified over what the future holds.

Going to this rehab facility will force Curtis to truly face reality, so that’ll bring a whole new wave of tough emotions.

Curtis will have a hard time coping, but he’ll get some help from a physical therapist named Roy (Mykel Shannon Jenkins) along the way.

There’ll be plenty of other patients who are facing adjustment periods just like Curtis, so maybe it’ll help him to know he’s not alone.

Roy may also remind Curtis that his quality of life will depend on the work he’s willing to put in.

Curtis may not be able to control whether he’ll walk again, but he can still put in some effort in physical therapy and make sure he’s giving himself the best chance at moving forward.

Of course, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is hoping they can move forward in their marriage, too.

That’s why Portia will become a surprise rehab crasher and try to force Curtis to have a conversation he’s been avoiding.

Curtis did his best to shut Portia out and acted like they should end their marriage since he’s not the same man he was before.

However, Portia loves Curtis’ heart and is desperate to break down his walls.

GH fans will recall that Portia already refused to accept Curtis’ attempt to push her away, but she’ll have to work a bit harder if she wants to lock in their future together.

When Portia shows up at Curtis’ rehab facility against his wishes, he’ll inevitably lash out.

Curtis may reiterate that he wants to be left alone, but Portia won’t think that’s good for either of them.

Instead, Portia will plead with Curtis to just let her in and accept the love she’s still willing to give him.

Although Portia will think they can tackle this challenge together, it’ll be difficult for Curtis to see the same vision.

Portia will hope to help Curtis with his recovery, but Curtis’ stubborn side could present more problems as this storyline heats up.
