Valentin was all too cognizant and in excruciating pain as he revealed what had happened after Victor discovered the secret house to his friends as Anna (Finola Hughes) was struggling for her life on the operation table while under anesthesia. The arrival of Charlotte, Valentin’s daughter (welcome to daytime, AnaSofia Bianchi), helped to lessen his grief. He was able to concentrate on his daughter’s future and the affection he had for her. Valentin urged his daughter not to harbor resentment at Charles Shaughnessy’s Victor for killing Anna.

Naturally, the scumbag deserves the abuse, but Valentin wants better for Charlotte. “Stop hating. Valentin spoke haltingly but added, “I don’t want that for you. “That just elevates his status too much. My little one, your life is your own. And it moves forward. Don’t waste it hating, please. That is not what I want for you.

Charlotte received assurances from Valentin that Victor would be prevented in some way. When he ran into Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), he was less polite and demanded to know how Anna was doing. Valentin was irate despite Portia’s attempts to calm him down by pointing him that Anna wasn’t her patient. Thankfully, Curtis was there to speak out for his wife. Valentin apologized profusely to Portia. She was aware. He is in excruciating discomfort.

After surgery, Valentin visited Anna at her bedside and told her, while she was still asleep, that he had been making promises to Victor with God, fate, the universe, and even himself. Valentin’s remarks showed how strong he can be, but Stuart swiftly showed the more frail part of his nature as he urged Anna to awaken.

Anna opened her eyes slowly and Stuart continued his emotional job. Valentin smiled as Anna awoke, “Well, hello, if it isn’t the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.” I say, “Welcome back.” However, he was unable to suppress his awareness of his unintentional contribution to her feeling of being close to death. The only reason Victor shot Anna, Valentin regretted, was to get to him. Not much frightens me, Anna,” shouted Valentin. “But what frightened me was watching you as I held you in my arms and watched you fade away. I would rather not be without you.

James Patrick Stuart has experienced an emotional rollercoaster thanks to GH. Joy, suffering, fear, hope, and love. With each of them, the actor delivered. Bravo!

Honorable mention: Anna, played by Finola Hughes, underwent surgery the first half of the week off-screen. But as soon as she returned to our screens, the actress gave a stirring performance. Heartfelt Anna confided told Valentin that after being shot, she had seen the faces of her loved ones, including Valentin, Robin, Emma, and Noah. Anna sobbed, “I’m not ready to leave any of you just yet.” You might be trapped with me, I believe. Good.
