General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s New Job Offer – Ace’s Mom Finds Surprising Way to Make Money

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme has an interesting offer headed her way during the week of May 15-19. Someone will reach out to Esme with a proposal for her to consider, so she’ll have to mull it over and give this person her response.

Since Esme will be intrigued rather than spooked, that seems like a good hint.

If Esme were being offered something suspicious – like a visit with her bio mom, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) – she’d be rattled and would probably turn it down immediately.

Instead, it seems like this offer will be something Esme is open to.

GH fans know Esme could use a job, so maybe an opportunity to make money will fall right into her lap.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has really taken Esme under her wing, so she’s trying to help Esme build a new life for herself and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). It’s possible that Laura will pull a few strings and arrange this job offer for Esme.

Of course, there’s a chance Esme might do something simple like become a waitress at Kelly’s, but the show’s playing up this proposal as intriguing.

That makes it seem like a more surprising source of income.

It’d really throw Esme for a loop if Ava Jerome (Maura West) offered her a job at the gallery.

Ava may end up having a grand reopening there soon and suggesting she could use the help.

As for why Ava might offer Esme a job, it could be a “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” situation.

What better way to keep an eye on Esme and monitor her every move than to employ her?

Ava might even be able to set some sort of trap that could send Esme back to prison.

However, that would require spending a great deal of time with Esme, which may not be something Ava’s willing to put up with – especially since Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might be upset over a hiring decision like this.

Another job opportunity could be waiting for Esme at Deception, especially if Laura calls in a favor from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) mentioned wanting to step back from Deception at one point, so the company could perhaps use Esme’s assistance.

Then again, maybe Esme could find work somewhere else entirely, but it does sound like a job offer will give her something to think about soon.
