General Hospital Spoilers: ‘Eddie’ in Love with Alexis – Ned Rejects Olivia for Former Flame?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) memory issues will become a tricky problem for everyone connected to him, especially Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Olivia was thrilled when her husband woke up, but Ned doesn’t remember being her husband at all.
It’ll break Olivia’s heart when she realizes “Eddie Maine” – aka Ned with this weird form of selective amnesia – wants nothing to do with her.
“Eddie” will reject Olivia and will likely want someone else instead.
It’s possible Ned will still be in love with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) since she was a big part of the original “Eddie Maine” story back in the ‘90s.
Ned lived a double life and was married to Lois as “Eddie,” so there’s a chance she’ll be part of the picture.
However, there might be an easier, more logical option – especially since Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is already on canvas and could use a new storyline to play around with.
When Ned revived his music career as “Eddie,” Alexis became known as “Eddie’s angel” and was hounded by the press as the woman in his life.
Since we know Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will seek Alexis out during the week of June 19-23, that may be regarding this whole “Eddie” situation.
Perhaps Ned will only have eyes for Alexis, so Tracy may think she could help jog his memory and accept reality.
Alexis will get some stunning updates and have a chance to react to this bizarre “Eddie Maine” news.
GH spoilers say Alexis will ultimately have a suggestion to try, so it sounds like she might brainstorm some solutions with Tracy.
If there’s a way to help Ned get back to his old self, Alexis will want to help.
Of course, it’d be interesting if Alexis started to develop feelings for Ned again in the midst of all this.
Alexis has been single for far too long, so no one could blame her for being lonely and drawn to an ex who suddenly wants her.
