General Hospital Recap: Thursday, July 6 – Lucy’s Fake Business Trip – Sasha’s Shocking Discovery – Martin’s ELQ Takeover

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 6, reveals that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) caught up with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in the GH locker room. Finn assured Liz that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) understood she couldn’t play matchmaker, but he couldn’t promise she wouldn’t try it again.

Elizabeth suggested they should plan a family night for the kids, so Finn agreed and thought it’d distract Violet from her campaign to get them back together.

“’Cause that’s what we want, right?” Liz asked on Thursday’s episode – though it was obvious neither of them did!

After Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) interrupted, Finn left to take Violet to the Metro Court.

That gave Terry a chance to quiz Liz about this whole date situation and push her to be honest with Finn about her feelings.

At the nail salon, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) were all concerned about Molly Lansing-Davis (currently played by Holiday Mia Kriegel) wanting a wild night out, but they all planned to support her.

Molly came strutting in with a Champagne bottle, so Alexis wondered if there was news to celebrate.

Although Molly didn’t want to talk about her doctor’s appointment, Kristina thought she’d feel better if she opened up to her family.

Molly finally blurted out that her eggs weren’t viable and that she could never have a biological child.

Kristina felt guilty when Molly rushed outside, but Molly returned after getting some air and apologized for storming off.

Once Kristina said she was sorry for pushing, Molly suggested there was no use in tiptoeing around the subject now.

Although Sam pointed out that surrogacy and adoption were options, Molly feared she’d break if she tried to make a plan now.

Alexis hugged Molly and promised to put her back together if that happened.

Molly said she’d revisit having a family with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), but tonight she just wanted to go out dancing and have fun now that their nails were dry.

At The Savoy, TJ opened up to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) about Molly not being able to get pregnant.

Curtis thought that maybe Molly just needed time to process everything and urged TJ to be patient with her.

TJ was concerned about Molly pulling away and worried about the possibility that she’d changed her mind about wanting kids.

Curtis wondered what that would mean for TJ and Molly’s relationship if they couldn’t get on the same page.

At Deception, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) finally confessed to the unauthorized download to stop Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) bickering.

Brook Lynn claimed she didn’t know it was a big deal and said she just wanted to prove herself as an asset by familiarizing herself with the product.

As Brook Lynn continued to lie, she said she wanted to create a social media campaign based on all the information.

Lucy ranted about how they could kiss their cash cow goodbye if their trade secrets got into the wrong hands, so she demanded the confidential info back.

Brook Lynn said the flash drive was at home and dashed off to go get it.

Later, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) filled Lucy in on the bank statement she’d pieced together and the regular $50,000 deposits that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) had been receiving from a bank in Pine Valley, Pennsylvania.

Although digging could cost Lucy her relationship, she couldn’t ignore her concerns and pushed Felicia to keep looking into this.

By the Metro Court pool, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wanted Martin to run ELQ since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was off gallivanting and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was only interested in his rockstar persona right now.

Martin eventually got on board with the idea and accepted Tracy’s invitation to attend the annual GH fundraiser picnic next week as her honored guest. Tracy assured Martin that he could bring Lucy if their romance hadn’t flamed out by then.

Brook Lynn saw Tracy and Martin talking just before Finn showed up with Violet, who wanted a Shirley Temple from the nearby bar.

Once Brook Lynn led Violet over to get her drink, she also spoke with Martin alone and advised him to stay sharp since Tracy could be opportunistic.

Back with Tracy, she caught up with Finn and urged him to squash whatever feelings he still had for Elizabeth.

Tracy asked if Finn really wanted to risk Violet losing her aunt again after she’s already lost her mother.

After Violet finished her Shirley Temple, she ran back over to Finn and asked if they could see Aunt Elizabeth soon, so Finn said he’d check his calendar.

Once Martin called Lucy and gave her updates on Tracy’s picnic invitation, Lucy wasn’t sure she could make it back in time.

Martin wondered what was up, so Lucy claimed to be going on an out-of-state business trip for Deception.

As for Brook Lynn, she brought Tracy up to speed on all the latest office drama and insisted she needed the flash drive back since Lucy demanded it.

Tracy handed that flash drive over as a suspicious Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) secretly watched the exchange nearby.
