Sister Wives star Robyn Brown seems distressed over Kody Brown‘s marriage troubles, so when viewers of this TLC series saw something disturbing in the last episode they spun a new theory. Even if this theory doesn’t pan out, fans believe something is out of whack at the home of Robyn and Kody Brown.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown’s Insecurities Minimized at First
Robyn Brown is the fourth and youngest wife of Kody Brown. When she joined this family unit it was already two decades in the making.
So, as the Sister Wives viewers learned quickly. Becoming a newbie in a polygamous marriage came with challenges. Her arrival into this family played out on the screen.
But the fans weren’t privy to a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff. That came later in a book the five Sister Wives adults penned. While the other wives seemed just fine with it all, newlywed Kody chased Robyn around like a lovesick teen.
But through interviews years later, along with the book, fans learned how the three original wives were really feeling. All three were stricken with jealousy and Robyn could feel this. She later talked about her insecurities as well as her feelings of not being accepted.
Robyn Holds on to Kody?
As time went by Robyn Brown’s insecurities surfaced on Sister Wives as well as behind the scenes. Fans still talk about a gift she had made for Kody Brown which screamed insecurity for fans.
Robyn came to the Sister Wives marriage with three kids from a previous marriage. Kody ended up adopting the kids but because he wasn’t their dad when they were very young, Robyn felt her kids missed out.
Sister Wives fans became mortified when she presented the above portrait to Kody Brown years back. Fans thought this was creepy as Kody and her kids did not pose for this. When the kids were this age, they lived with their biological father.
This was back when Kody Brown was a regular on social media. So, he posted the above blurb about his gift from Robyn. The comments swirled online for days. But many fans thought it was a desperate attempt to feel she had the same foundation with Kody as did the other Sister Wives brides.
Now this season something popped up. Her seven-year-old daughter has a pacifier. Fans think they know why Robyn allows this to go on in her home – her insecurities.
Sister Wives: Keeping the Kids Young
This season the viewers spotted something at Robyn Brown’s home that disturbed some fans. This happened once before a few years back when Ariella Brown ran around the house with a pacifier in her mouth.
But today she is seven and this new season shows her still with a pacifier. Most fans agree this is odd because she’s a bit old for this device usually given to infants. Plus, she is school-aged now and kids can be mean.
Nevertheless, some Sister Wives fans think they know why her mom allows this. And it goes back to Robyn Brown’s insecurities once more. Robyn maintains that her husband loves being a dad and that Kody adores his children. From what viewers have seen over the past few seasons, he doesn’t seem to do so well with his older kids.
A while back Kody requested that Janelle Brown kick two of her boys out during Covid for not following his rules. At the time, he reflected on his own teenage years saying at 18 he was considered a man. That’s when his father expected him to go out in the world on his own. So, it’s possible this mindset comes from how he grew up.
Sister Wives: Robyn Warms the House for Kody?
The theory about Ariella’s pacifier comes from Kody enjoying the pitter-patter of little feet. All three wives have said at one time or another that Kody was a great dad when the kids were younger.
Some fans suggest that by allowing Ariella to use a pacifier, she still looks like a toddler. So this theory suggests that this could be Robyn Brown’s way to keep the image of little ones around for Kody Brown. Now whether that fan theory is a stretch or not, most fans who commented on the pacifier thought it was wrong for a child her age.
Most fans feel it is just not right to allow a grammar school kid to have a pacifier. What makes it even worse is allowing her to appear on nationwide television with one. Again, kids can be mean. So fans of the TLC show worry that putting a child this age on TV with a pacifier invites other kids to pick on her.
It’s not the child’s fault as apparently Robyn Brown and Kody Brown don’t address it. But while some fans have a theory, other fans don’t buy it and ask why these two TLC celebrities allow this.
