Kody and Janelle have been walking on thin ice in the new Sister Wives Season 18. Fans had already cracks in their marriage for a long time. But they kept holding on for the sake of the rest of the plural family. But in the new edition, they have finally realized they can’t be in a polygamous relationship.

Hence, Janelle finally decided to call it quits. Viewers have been observant of their fights and realized there was a point when Kody called his former second wife the “Teflon Queen.” Well, what does it exactly mean? Let’s uncover this mystery.

Sister Wives: Kody Yells At Janelle! Calls Her A Teflon Queen, But Why?

Sister Wives Season 18 has been quite flavourful so far. Apart from showcasing Christine’s single life, Janelle and Meri also decided to part with Kody Brown. Fans also got to witness a rather ugly fight between Kody and Janelle.

Things got out of hand and Janelle held on to her husband’s jacket to stop him from leaving, but he didn’t change his mind. At last, the second wife also told the crew to stop filming. The couple said some rather unpleasant things to each other. This wasn’t the first time it happened.

Long-time fans must recall how Kody told his and Janelle’s son Gabe that his mother was a Teflon Queen. Fans have often wondered what it meant. It happened in Sister Wives Season 16, as per Starcasm. Apparently, it was a reference to one of the most dangerous crime bosses, John Gotti.

He had earned the nickname the Teflon Don. Apparently, it is a non-stick material. Kody used the phrase for his second wife while telling their son how Janelle was not following the COVID-19 protocols for the whole Brown family.

Gabe defended his mom by saying Janelle wouldn’t mind getting sick due to COVID-19 if it meant bringing the whole family together. So, Kody told him that his mother was a “Teflon Queen,” as the blame bounces off of her and goes onto everyone else. The polygamist also claimed she screwed him and everyone else during the summer of that year, i.e., 2020.

Kody didn’t shy away while telling Janelle she is the Teflon Queen because she “lies.” He thought she made false statements while saying the Sister Wives polygamist was away from her and didn’t spend time with her for as long as 4-5 months.

But after the new season, fans know Janelle wasn’t making such a thing up. In fact, Meri also admitted to Robyn about keeping track of their husband’s time and how much of it he spent with each of his spouses. She, too, realized he hadn’t been giving her enough time.

Janelle also confronted Kody by saying he called her the phrase because she wasn’t adhering to the COVID norms. While their argument happened in Christmas, Kody and Robyn gave the whole family the rules in November.

Hence, it didn’t make sense as to why the polygamist was upset at her before that. But he argued that while the family got the list of rules in November, they had been discussing the rules from long before. So, as per Kody, Janelle should have known better.
